::First Day of School::
Tuesday, January 3, 2012
Our first day of school started off very well. We got to know some class routines like doing proper greeting to teachers, lining up in twos in orderly manner, sitting on the floor group by group and etc.
As a teacher, I shared with my 1A pupils, some things about myself and my recent trip to Japan. I believe my pupils were very engaged upon seeing pictures that I took when I was in Japan and especially when i visited Tokyo Disneyland. I told them I felt like a princess and I was like a small little girl the moment I stepped my foot into Disneyland.
It really amazes me that children just open up to you when you talk about real things and that when they see you as a person who does things or likes things just like them. My 1A pupils just went on talking and telling their friends that they visited other countries for holidays too and some could even relate their experiences of taking fun and thrill rides at Universal Studios. I believe I learnt more about them as we talked and that it was easy to get them to understand why in class we needed to set rules and routines.
I have some photos that I would like to share with you. Do enjoy the photos.

I hope to see smiles everyday and that your child looks forward to come to school.
P/S: Can we do our starjump again tomorrow class?
Cheers,
Ms Salina
