Welcome to 1A 2012 Class Bulletin Blog.I am Ms Salina Sulaiman, Form Teacher of Primary 1A.
Started teaching lower primary in 2005 and
I had been to many other schools conducting creative writing workshops
and study camps years before I took up teaching professionally.
I will be teaching your child English, Maths, Social Studies,
Music, FTGP and Art.
My responsibility as an educator is not only to equip my students with knowledge
but also to let them have the experiences, develop their life skills
and moral values. Every child is unique in his or her own way
and he or she can be nurtured holistically.

Dear Parents,
Term 4 will be a short and busy term for us. We have many things coming our way and right now, 1A pupils are busy practising for their upcoming Rainbow Day. At the same time, assessment and school lessons still proceed as normal. We already finished the unit on 'The Enormous Watermelon' and will be starting on a new unit, 'There's a Nightmare in My Closet'. Starting this week 3, will be the Formal Show and Tell. Yellow and Brown group members were already told last week to prepare themselves for this assessment.
As for Math, we finished our topics on Division and Time. Pupils will be sitting for their Topical Test 7 on the named topics this coming Friday, 28 Sep 2012.
PAL- We are having Outdoor Education this term and Mr Bosco Coco, our instructor, is fun and energetic. My pupils truly enjoy his exciting lessons.

We are saying 'Thank You' to Jian Tong and Neo for being our Monitotress and Monitor in Term 3. They had been so efficient in looking out for their classmates. We welcome Yu Le and Yu Yang as our monitors this term.
Our July Best Group of the Month went to Brown Group and the Star pupil was won by Ryan. Ryan has always been a good and well-behaved pupil in class.
As for August Best Group of the Month, our Green Group emerged as the winner. Self discipline as well as great teamwork led them to winning the title. Valent was selected as the Star Pupil of the Month as he had shown so much positivity in his attitude. He had shown a lot of effort in his studies and even tried to give his best eventhough some things learnt were much too challenging for him to comprehend. For that, he truly deserved the Star Pupil award. I hope Valent will continue this positive attitude of his.
